This vehicle went to a lady working with CAPLP - Lakes & Prairies Community Action Partnership. She has severe health issues and has been relying on friends for rides to get groceries and for doctor appointments.

Canceled rides have forced her to miss important doctor appointments. These visits are crucial to her health and prevent her from declining medically. She has also missed appointments for Social Services and applying for other assistance because of lack of transportation.

Having this vehicle will keep her on track with her doctoring and also help her to continue down the path of self-sufficiency.

Thanks to the family that traveled from out of town to donate their well maintained vehicle to help this lady. Also, thanks to the volunteers that made the fast repairs to get this car safe and reliable.
