This nice SUV went to a young man working with Youthworks Fargo TLP/MGH/SOP in their Transitional Living Program.
He is a 19-year-old father to a three-year-old daughter. He had been living with his Mother and Stepfather in their apartment in Fargo, ND up until mid-September 2021. At that time, the parents moved out of state to be closer to other family and to deal with some serious health issues. Unfortunately, his Mom passed away from terminal cancer not long after leaving the area.
He is working hard towards many goals such as maintaining employment, beginning classes at the North Dakota State College of Science to earn a business degree, and continuing to parent his daughter. He has demonstrated tremendous resilience through the challenges he has faced and is optimistically navigating through a lot of life changes towards independence.
This vehicle will enable him to maintain his employment, set the path towards furthering his education and ensure he can provide for his daughter, transporting her to daycare, appointments and other daily responsibilities.
As all of our donated vehicles, we want to especially thank the previous owners of this Trailblazer. They wanted to impact someone's life positively by donating it to our Ministry in the hopes that it would be placed into the hands of someone in-need. It was a perfect fit for this young man and we are confident it will place him and his young daughter on the road towards self-sufficiency and success.
Fix It Forward Ministry. Driven To Serve.
