This nice SUV went to a young lady working with SENDCAA. She is a single mother struggling to manage transportation for herself and her four young children.

She expressed so much gratitude upon receiving the keys this week, indicating how the independent transportation it will provide will have a huge positive impact on her entire family. 

She understands that it is crucial for the development of her kids to have consistent, stable routines including school which offers opportunities for more learning, life skills, socialization and healthy meals. This vehicle will be instrumental in helping this family thrive.

Thank you to the family that donated this vehicle in the hopes that it could be put in the hand of someone in need. And always, big thanks to the volunteer teams that braved the recent bitter cold and weather challenges to show up to our work day to make the repairs needed so we could hand the keys to this deserving mother.
