Car donation #348.

This nice Ford sedan went to a single mother working with Fargo Housing.The mother indicates that she has no way to purchase anything on her own and is looking at starting school again in the next 10-12 months. She also is seeking employment. 

She states "Living in the freezing cold climate we live in and trying to get a child or children bundled and ready to head to appointments or the store is hard. I can’t bring many groceries on the bus because I can only carry so much. Bringing my kids to school is challenging also without a vehicle because we must leave so early on the bus to get them to school on time.

 Having my own transportation is or would be a blessing from God for myself and my kiddos."She continues "I wouldn’t have to worry about being the weather or how can I get here or there. It would enable me to get them to school without leaving earlier than needed and make going to work and school easy on me."Enormous gratitude when she and her children were presented the keys this week. 

She's finally figuring things out for herself and her babies and this is just another step in the right direction of becoming independent.Not many dry eyes in the lobby of Fix It Forward Auto Care during this donation. Her little daughter came running up to our Ministry Coordinator and gave him a big hug and said thank you for her new car.
