Car donation #358.

This vehicle went to a lady working with Freedom Resource Center for Independent Living, Inc. She will greatly benefit in many ways with the freedom this nice sedan will provide. After being in a nursing home for the last two years, she is looking forward to being outside. When her endurance increases, she would like to seek volunteer opportunities and take classes at the nearby college.

She is currently living too far from the nearest bus stop to walk in her condition. Having this vehicle would allow her to make it to all her doctor’s appointment easily and shop independently. She also would like to join a local fitness club so that she can continue to get stronger after her numerous hip surgeries. We hope this vehicle serves as a catalyst in helping her transition back into independent and healthy living.
