Car donation #385.

Car #385 has been donated! This nice vehicle went to a woman working with RAACC Fargo.

She began having issues with her back in 2017 and at an early medical appointment for her back, she was assaulted by the doctor.

This incident caused extensive PTSD resulting in mental health treatment. In 2018, she was assaulted again by a different offender. From all these traumatic experiences, she has not been able to work full time. Additionally, during this time, she was trying to leave a three-year long violent relationship and recently has undergone multiple surgeries from complications of a back surgery, and a surgery on her stomach to address digestive issues.

Most recently, her health has stabilized to the point where she has started working a full-time job. Utilizing public transportation has proven difficult to maintain her work along with continuing mental health therapy and her medical appointments. This vehicle will be transformative, ensuring she continues on the path of healing and independence.

A neat caveat to this story is that through her connection with True North Church, she recently volunteered here, trying her hand at readying vehicles for deserving recipients like herself.God's blessings!
