This nice SUV went to a family of four working with the YWCA Cass Clay. Their young son sees a hematologist every two weeks for sickle cell anemia treatments. 

Public transportation has proven difficult in terms of reliability and has been a source of stress in dealing with a potential emergency situation.

This vehicle will also provide a broader employment search. The parent is actively looking for a long-term, stable job but right now is working day labor exclusively. Thanks to the local family that donated this well-kept vehicle. 

Big thanks to the volunteer team that made the minimal repairs to ready this vehicle for this deserving and goal-oriented family.
