Car #377 has been donated! This nice Chevy sedan went to a gentleman working with ShareHouse, Inc.
He will use this vehicle to attend treatment, work and appointments, continuing to work on his sobriety and be independent. He is currently in treatment at ShareHouse for meth addiction. His addiction has impacted so many areas of his life. He didn’t have a job, was homeless, and had no transportation and was not reaching out for help.
Through commitment and this program, he is getting back on his feet again, has employment and is exploring housing options. His goal is to search for a higher paying job and having a vehicle will greatly help him do this. Additionally, he can visit family again and attend recovery meetings and outpatient programming and see his medical providers. Getting reliable transportation will be another step in his path to getting back on track.
We wish this man well and hope he seizes this opportunity to use independent transportation as a catalyst for positive changes and self-sufficiency.Big thanks to our volunteers, partners and donors for continuing to support our important mission! Your ARE making a difference in the community.
