Car donation #450. Seeking independence.

Car #450 has been donated! This nice SUV went to woman working with Lakeland Mental Health Center. She lives with her boyfriend who has a traumatic brain injury and numerous medical appointments. She is currently pregnant and also has medical appointments.

They recently moved to the area from another state and are living with the boyfriends mother. They are currently trying to establish with services in the area, which also requires attending appointment at the Clay County or housing appointments. They both have part-time jobs.

This vehicle will enable them to not only get to and from their jobs and appointments easier but it would allow them to look for housing for themselves so they would no longer need to live his mom. It would allow them more independence and once the baby is born a car would be needed if emergency should arise with the baby.
