Car #340 donation.

This car went to a gentleman working with Community Options Inc.

He is currently caring for his nine year old nephew and is currently in the process of adopting him. The young boy suffers from past abuse and extreme neglect. This gentleman has his own chronic health issues and is unable to work, recently applying for social security disability benefits. 

The need for a reliable vehicle is critical as they both have multiple therapy and medical appointments every month. Public transportation poses many challenges as he is unable to walk long distances due to a foot injury from his last employment. 

That injury has required three surguries to repair, and he now walks with a cane.

Thanks to the family that donated this nice running Oldsmobile. Minimal repairs were needed and our incredible volunteers were able to complete these relatively quickly, enabling us to hand the keys to this deserving new owner.
