Car #367 donation.

This nice sedan went to a lady working with CAPLP - Lakes & Prairies Community Action Partnership.

She has been stablely housed since August 2021. She has two children that live with another family member, but she is trying to participate in their lives as much as possible.

She has overcome many challenges since her work with CAPLP and has made great strides in rebuilding her relationships with her children. She is currently on disability and is wanting to get back in the workforce with a flexible job like Door Dash. A car will help her to maintain a relationship with her children and to become more independent in work and daily responsibilities.

We hope this vehicle enables her to continue down her path of self-sufficiency and help her be a positive influence in her children's lives.

Thanks to the local family that donated this nice Mitsubishi. Our amazing volunteers were able to complete a minimal checklist of repair/maintenance items to get this vehicle ready for it's new owner.
