DONATE MONEY

Jeremy Jensen, August 29 2022

Car #368 donation.

This Chrysler went to a lady working with Fargo Salvation Army.

She recently had to quit her part time job at the VFW selling pull tabs due to back issues and needing surgery. She couldn't handle standing during her shifts and had to resign.

She did have a vehicle but the cost to repair it was higher than the car's worth. She donated her old vehicle since she didn’t want to attempt to sell it, as the transmission was out and the vehicle had high miles. With the loss of income, she doesn't qualify for a car loan to help purchase a different vehicle. Having a safe vehicle will help her to be able to make it safely back and forth to medical appointments and once she receives surgery, hopefully back to work.

This was a very low mile vehicle that a local family decided to donate after sitting for many years. The vehicle overall was in great shape, interior in great shape and rear seats looked like no one ever sat in them.

We hope this donation helps enable self-sufficiency for this lady and places her back on the road to success.

Big thanks to the volunteer team that made the minimal repairs.

God's blessings to everyone.
