DONATE MONEY

Jeremy Jensen, August 29 2022

Car donation #335.

This nice van went to a family working with Clay County Social Services.

They have been struggling recently without a vehicle, relying on others for transportation to their son's appointments in West Fargo, to get groceries, take their children to school, and making sure the father can get to work.

He is currently the only income the family has right now. The mother was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia and is unable to work.Having this vehicle will give them a boost in independence and the confidence to help them get through this rough patch so they can provide for their children and continue towards a life of self-sufficiency.

The vehicle donor was very happy to donate this van and was more pleased that their family van is going to a family with kids in need. This van was repaired by the students at Minnesota State Community and Technical College - M State Auto program. It had an ABS issues and they used it for training purposes to teach them about a common, real-world vehicle issue.
